Our work at the Bauhaus Center Tel Aviv is being noticed around the world and we are invited to share our knowledge and experience about architecture, preservation and city-planning at talks around the world. In July this summer Co-Founder Dr. Micha Gross will follow an invitation to speak at the Moscow Urban Forum.
Moscow Urban Forum is an international congress and exhibition platform for urban development, architecture, economy and strategic urban planning. The Forum is held annually since 2011 with the support of the Government of Moscow and the personal participation of Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin. The MUF gathers on its platform leaders of the global cities, hundreds of professionals in architecture, development, infrastructure, and engineering solutions, CEOs of financial corporations, investors, tech startups, media, authorities and citizens.
In 2017 the Moscow Urban Forum attracted some 11,000 participants and representatives from 68 countries, including 24 government delegations, city mayors, global business figures and leading experts.
The main topic of the 2018 forum held from July 17-22 is “Megacity of the Future. New Space For Living”. The events, talks and discussions focus on the development of big cities and agglomerations in the age of global change. How do people and their demands on cities change? What do these changes mean for the cities? What will the megacities of tomorrow look like? The key areas of focus this year are urban planning, architecture, new economy, the city competitiveness, human capital and sustainable development.
Bauhaus Center Co-Founder Dr. Micha Gross will be speaking at the forum presenting the perspective of Bauhaus Center Tel Aviv on urban development and architecture.
